Job Summary

Crystal Drywall Corp is seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for installing and finishing drywall in various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation: Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets to ensure a smooth and even surface.
  • Finishing: Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a high-quality finish.
  • Taping and Embedding: Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound to create a strong bond.
  • Plastering: Mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency and apply coats of plaster to form a weatherproof surface.
  • Stud Installation: Install exterior and interior steel studs and metal stud framing for interior drywall or plaster walls and ceilings.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Conditions: Work in various locations, including construction sites and warehouses.
  • Physical Demands: Handle heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and work in a physically demanding environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in drywall installation and finishing.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
