Drywall Installation Job Description

A & K Tiles & Drywall Ltd. is seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team. As a Drywall Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, cutting and installing metal corner beads, and fabricating and installing suspended metal ceiling grids.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets to create smooth surfaces
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
  • Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound
Work Environment:

As a Drywall Installation Specialist, you will work in various locations, including construction sites and warehouses. You will be required to work at heights and in confined spaces.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in drywall installation
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor
