About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Office Administrator to join our team at 7132344 Canada Inc. as an Administrative Support professional. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our office operations, ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Procedures: Implement new administrative procedures, review and evaluate existing ones, and ensure their effective implementation.
  • Office Management: Coordinate and plan for office services, including accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance, and security services.
  • Payroll Administration: Oversee payroll administration, ensuring accurate and timely payment of employees.
  • Budgeting and Expenditures: Assist in the preparation of the operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls.
  • Training and Development: Provide training to staff on administrative procedures and policies.
  • Conflict Resolution: Resolve conflict situations in a fair and professional manner.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation: Monitor and evaluate administrative procedures and office operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Support for Diverse Groups
  • Support for Persons with Disabilities: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Recruit and support newcomers and refugees, providing them with foreign credential recognition and mentorship programs.
  • Support for Youth: Offer on-the-job training tailored to youth and provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
  • Support for Veterans: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for Veterans and offer workshops, counseling services, or other resources to help Veterans navigate their transition into the civilian workforce.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Provide cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
  • Support for Mature Workers: Apply hiring policies that discourage age discrimination and provide staff with awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers.
  • Support for Visible Minorities: Apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities and provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
