Swiss Chalet is seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team

In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and dining areas. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing staff, managing food preparation, maintaining quality standards, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and Motivate: Supervise and coordinate a team of culinary professionals, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure staff members are equipped to excel in their roles.
  • Operational Excellence: Establish efficient workflows and procedures for food preparation, service, and inventory management. Ensure adherence to established safety and sanitation protocols.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain rigorous quality control standards for all food items served. Address customer feedback promptly and professionally, striving to exceed expectations.
  • Resource Management: Effectively requisition food supplies and kitchen equipment. Monitor inventory levels and manage costs to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Financial Acumen: Prepare budgets and cost estimates for meal preparation. Analyze sales data and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, along with 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role within the food service industry. A strong understanding of food safety practices and excellent communication skills are essential for success.
