Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Quesada Burritos & Tacos is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including training and development.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address customer complaints or concerns.
  • Operations: Establish methods to meet work schedules, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and prepare budget and cost estimates.
  • Staff Management: Hire food service staff, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Skills: Excellent oral communication, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and team player.
Work Environment:

Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. Standing for extended periods is required.

Language:

English is the primary language of communication in this role.

Work Schedule:

30 to 40 hours per week.
