Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that all food and service meet quality control standards. This includes supervising and coordinating the activities of staff, training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, including training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations and health and safety regulations.
  • Cost products and services, and conduct performance reviews.
  • Provide customer service and lead/instruct individuals as needed.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, and determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures.
Requirements:
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Work Environment:

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with a large workload, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure with tight deadlines.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Work Schedule:

The work schedule is 30 to 44 hours per week.
