Role Summary

What is the opportunity?

In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in managing client, reputational, and operational risks associated with credit and fulfillment processes that support leasing services for our vendor and commercial banking clients. Your contributions will enhance client satisfaction, bolster retention efforts, and minimize revenue loss by delivering financial solutions to address client inquiries and escalations regarding leasing products, including quotes and payment questions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Professionally respond to all incoming emails, adhering to established service levels and quality standards to ensure all performance targets are achieved.
  • Provide after-sales assistance to both internal and external partners regarding contract-related inquiries, such as address changes, requests for Bill of Sale, invoice copies, and buyout quotes.
  • Utilize comprehensive knowledge of product features, systems, policies, and procedures to effectively identify and resolve client care issues through active listening and clarification, while directing unresolved matters to the appropriate department.
  • Maintain a proactive stance by documenting and investigating ongoing or recurring issues related to technology applications and product/process challenges, recommending solutions whenever feasible.
  • Address complex and unique issues by leveraging past experiences and product knowledge, escalating to management when necessary.
  • Make outbound calls to partners to clarify details as needed.
  • Prevent revenue loss by ensuring appropriate fees are charged for services rendered.

Qualifications for Success

Essential Skills:

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French is required, as you will regularly engage with clients who have varying language needs.
  • Demonstrated customer service excellence with a proven ability to resolve conflicts effectively and seek managerial guidance when necessary.
  • Strong organizational capabilities, adept at managing time and priorities, with a knack for problem-solving through alternative recommendations.
  • A willingness to learn, multitask, and work collaboratively within a team or independently.
  • Attention to detail with a solid understanding of contract terms and conditions.
  • Exhibit RBC values by positively influencing business and individual performance through client-first approaches, collaboration, accountability, and timely decision-making.

Preferred Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of leasing, financing, and related documentation, as well as credit policies.
  • Familiarity with PPSA laws across Canada.
