About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at Bolton Auto Collision. As a Welder, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality repairs and maintenance of our customers' vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpretation and Execution
    • Interpret welding process specifications and execute them accurately
    • Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment to ensure precise and efficient results
  • Quality Control
    • Examine welds and ensure they meet industry standards and specifications
    • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Material Evaluation
    • Determine weldability of materials and select the most suitable options for each project
  • Team Collaboration
    • Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment and provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth
    • Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports Veterans and offers mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Veterans
    • Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people and offers mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers
    • Apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities and offer mentorship programs that pair members of visible minorities with experienced employees
  • Work Environment

    Requirements
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in welding and metal fabrication
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • Dusty and noisy work environment
