Job Summary

Ontario Best Carrier Inc. is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal parts and products using various welding techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret and execute welding process specifications to ensure high-quality results.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, including flame-cutting equipment, to fabricate and repair metal parts and products.
  • Examine welds to ensure they meet industry standards and specifications.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding equipment.
  • Determine the weldability of materials and select the appropriate welding technique.
  • Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Operate previously set-up brazing or soldering machines to bond metal or to fill holes, indentations, and seams of metal.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a hot environment.
Working Conditions

The Welder will work in a manufacturing environment with a focus on metal fabrication and repair. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team.
