Sales Representative - Canadian Rocky Mountain Resorts
Location: Remote/Part-time Department: SalesPrimary Responsibilities
As a Sales Representative, you will be the face of Canadian Rocky Mountain Resorts, showcasing our products at various local markets and events. Your role is pivotal in driving sales through exceptional customer interaction and in-depth product knowledge.
Key Duties
- Inform customers about the distinctive features of our products, including sourcing, ingredients, and production methods.
- Engage with potential customers to identify their needs and recommend suitable solutions.
- Demonstrate product lines effectively, sharing insights on production processes, health benefits, and sustainable practices.
- Proactively identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to enhance sales performance.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all products, including seasonal offerings and new launches.
- Gather and relay customer feedback to management to support product development and marketing strategies.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and communicating restocking requirements.
- Participate in pre-event and post-event discussions to refine sales strategies and evaluate performance.
- Accurately process transactions and resolve any related issues.
- Track daily sales and customer interactions, providing detailed reports.
- Travel to designated events and set up a branded booth as necessary.
- Contribute to the creation and execution of local marketing initiatives to attract booth visitors.
- Work remotely on a part-time basis, with occasional visits to the office for inventory pickup.
- Package products as needed.
- Assist with miscellaneous sales support tasks.
Qualifications
- Located in Calgary.
- High school diploma; prior customer service experience is essential.
- Enthusiastic about health products and current e-commerce trends.
- Strong sales orientation with a proven ability to meet targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized, responsible, adaptable, and proficient with technology.
- Ability to work independently and self-motivate.
- Physical capability to lift and transport items up to 50 lbs; ability to stand for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Personal transportation is necessary (mileage for market travel is reimbursed).
