Description

Position Summary

As an Operations Manager - Infrastructure Management Specialist at Ferrovial, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations to ensure that contract standards are met efficiently and safely. You will help implement asset management and maintenance programs in line with guidelines and budget, ensuring compliance with Ferrovial's Global Standards.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Contract Manager to meet obligations related to quality, safety, environmental aspects, and more.
  • Establish effective relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Prepare monthly reports on various aspects.
  • Facilitate training in Quality Assurance, Health & Safety, and more.
  • Work with different business groups within Ferrovial to ensure best practices.
  • Implement and monitor HSE Hazard Register outcomes.
  • Support Operations group with incident investigations and corrective actions.
  • Report statistical information to HSE Manager regularly.
  • Ensure compliance with Global Management System.
  • Develop procedures and documents to meet Global Standards.
  • Lead quality-related matters in operations. Participate in continuous improvement process.
  • Report regularly to Managers on system performance.
  • Ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively.
  • Provide expertise on quality issues.
  • Focus on safety and complete work accurately.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Knowledge of asset management, road maintenance, repair, etc.
  • Ability to adapt, negotiate, coordinate, and plan effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain positive customer focus.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of safety policies and regulations.
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Highly developed sense of safety awareness.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in relative discipline or equivalent work experience.
  • 2-3 years industry experience; management experience desired.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Professional Engineering License highly desired.

Work Environment

  • Work in office and field environments with travel requirements.

Physical Demands

  • Sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach, and adjust focus.
