PCL Constructors Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Instructional Content Developer to join our team. As a key member of our learning and development department, you will be responsible for designing and delivering high-quality training programs that meet the needs of our employees.
Key Responsibilities- Curriculum Development: Collaborate with subject matter experts to design and develop curricula that align with our business objectives.
- Instructional Design: Apply adult learning methodologies to create engaging and effective training programs.
- Training Delivery: Deliver instructor-led courses to diverse groups of participants with varying knowledge, experience, and backgrounds.
- Project Management: Manage the preparation of course materials, including pre- and post-course work, and track tasks and deadlines for self and a small team.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain strong, customer-focused relationships with all stakeholders, including employees, managers, and subject matter experts.
- Quality Assurance: Evaluate courses or programs, and implement revisions to improve quality.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a related discipline preferred.
- Experience: 5 years of progressive experience with training delivery and/or facilitation in a corporate environment preferred.
- Skills: Understanding of adult learning theory and practices, various instructional design approaches, instruction methodologies, and learner-centric design and learning solutions.
- Soft Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, high level of detail orientation, and ability to multitask and prioritize conflicting deadlines.
