Job Summary

Velocity23 is seeking a skilled Content Creator to join our team. As a Content Creator, you will be responsible for developing and creating a wide variety of content, including email copy, articles, website copy, and longer form copy.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and create engaging content that builds awareness, thought leadership, and demand for specified products, services, and solutions.
  • Craft and edit content across multiple marketing channels to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Audit and repurpose existing content to target different audiences and mediums.
  • Ensure all content is consistent with and supports the overall brand strategy and identity of Velocity23.
  • Optimize content for SEO strategies and user experience.

Requirements

  • Proven written communication skills, ideally with published content.
  • Post-secondary education in journalism or communications or equivalent is an asset.
  • A knack for simplifying complex topics and translating them into plain English.
  • Experience in storytelling and creating content that draws an audience in a persuasive way.
  • Strong grammar, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Apple iWork suite of tools or Adobe design tools.
  • Critical thinking and strong research skills.
  • Ability to adapt writing style to match different styles, tones, and personalities.
