About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Department Manager to join our team at FGL Sports. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates and driving sales growth in our Softgoods department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and increase sales revenue.
  • Manage and control department expenses to achieve budget targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and improve overall store performance.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and development opportunities to team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to ensure the department remains competitive.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of retail management experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Proven track record of sales growth and customer service excellence.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Business acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed business decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
