Position Overview

As a Food and Beverage Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests at East Side Mario's Oakville. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly.
  • Prepare and serve specialty dishes directly at customers' tables.
  • Present bills to patrons and process payments through various methods including cash, credit, or debit cards.
  • Provide detailed descriptions of menu items, including daily specials.
  • Offer guidance on menu selections to enhance the dining experience.
  • Maintain cleanliness by clearing and sanitizing tables, trays, and chairs.
  • Advise customers on wine selections and pairings.
  • Welcome guests, present menus, and respond to inquiries regarding food and beverages.
  • Manage inventory of wines and related glassware.
  • Conduct sensory evaluations of wines to ensure quality.
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently.
  • Take orders and communicate them to kitchen and bar staff.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service consistently.
Work Environment
  • Ability to bend, crouch, and kneel as required.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capable of handling heavy loads.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • Physically demanding role requiring extended periods of standing.
