Contract Manager Job Description

Clarity Hiring is seeking a highly skilled Contract Manager to join our team. As a Contract Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire contract lifecycle, from proposal development to contract administration and compliance.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Contract Oversight: Supervise and monitor the Contracts team to ensure effective contract introduction, administration, and compliance.
  • Proposal Development: Coordinate, review, and approve formal proposals and pricing with engineering, estimating, program management, Operations, and the executive.
  • Negotiation and Contracting: Negotiate contracts for domestic and export customers, ensuring that proposals meet financial requirements and that the agreed-to terms and conditions adequately protect the company.
  • Financial Management: Coordinate and negotiate financial papers associated with contracts, including Letters of Credit, Performance Bonds, and Banker's Guarantee.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on contract performance, ensuring that the company meets its financial and operational objectives.
  • Communication: Communicate regularly with all departments to ensure effective contract management and administration.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor of Commerce degree, Business Administration diploma from a recognized university or college, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 5-8 years of business/management experience, with contract administration experience considered a strong asset.
  • Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong planning and organizational skills, and negotiation skills.
