Contract Manager Job Description

Clarity Hiring is seeking a highly skilled Contract Manager to join our team. As a Contract Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire contract lifecycle, from negotiation to administration.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Contract Oversight: Supervise and monitor the Contracts team to ensure effective contract introduction, administration, and compliance.
  • Proposal Coordination: Coordinate, review, and approve formal proposals and pricing with engineering, estimating, program management, Operations, and the executive.
  • Negotiation and Contract Administration: Negotiate contracts for domestic and export customers, manage the receipt, review, and response to customer enquiries, and coordinate financial papers associated with contracts.
  • Financial Management: Contribute to overall corporate profitability by ensuring that proposals meet financial requirements and that the agreed-to terms and conditions adequately protect the company.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate regularly with all other departments and contribute to strategic planning and performance to annual/monthly budget.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor of Commerce degree, Business Administration diploma from a recognized university or college, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 5-8 years of business/management experience, with contract administration experience considered a strong asset.
  • Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong planning and organizational skills, and negotiation skills.
