Position Overview
The Human Resources Services at the House of Commons is seeking to fill a Human Resources Strategy Intern role, aimed at creating a pool of skilled candidates.

Role Summary
The HR Strategy Intern will serve as a strategic consultant to management within assigned business sectors, focusing on personnel management through a comprehensive HR perspective. This role will utilize a deep understanding of organizational dynamics to develop and implement HR services and initiatives that align with the strategic goals of the institution.

Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and recommend HR strategies, including workforce planning.
- Act as an advocate for employees and a catalyst for organizational change.

Strategic Planning & Implementation
As a vital partner in HR, our team is dedicated to fostering an agile and collaborative environment. We support our designated client groups and HR teams in executing change management strategies and tools that facilitate the achievement of HR and organizational objectives.

Qualifications
- A University Degree and/or Diploma in Human Resources Management or a relevant combination of education, training, and experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience providing strategic guidance to stakeholders and senior management.
- Proven experience in delivering innovative, client-focused support to business leaders.
- Experience in creating tools, guides, and communications related to workforce planning or reporting.
- Proficiency in conducting workforce data analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and effectively presenting findings to clients.
- Knowledge and experience in developing strategic business and operational plans, project management, and supporting workforce transformation initiatives.

Desirable Attributes
- Possession of a valid Human Resources designation (CHRP, CHRL, or CHRA).
- Familiarity with software such as MS Excel and Power BI for business data interpretation.
