Job Summary

St. Boniface Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our clinical team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in collaborating with clients to assess, intervene, and follow up on their occupational performance goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' occupational performance needs and develop personalized plans to address these needs.
  • Design and implement interventions to promote healthy lifestyles, prevent illness and disability, and enhance overall well-being.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research, best practices, and evidence-based guidelines in occupational therapy.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Manitoba (COTM) with a practicing or provisional register status.
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training in accordance with the Employer's policy.
  • Membership in the Manitoba Society of Occupational Therapists (MSOT) and the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT) is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, critical-thinking, and clinical reasoning skills.
  • Ability to adapt to new concepts, techniques, and best practices in the field of occupational therapy.
