Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clients to assess their needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions to promote healthy lifestyles, prevent illness and disability, and enhance occupational performance.
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited Canadian university program or equivalent.
  • Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Manitoba (COTM) and membership in the Manitoba Society of Occupational Therapists (MSOT) and the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to quality care and patient-centered practice.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including children, adults, and older adults.
  • Knowledge of Indigenous customs, traditions, and values, with the ability to work effectively with Indigenous clients and communities.
  • Fluency in an Indigenous language, with the ability to communicate effectively with Indigenous clients and families.
