Occupational Therapist

St. Boniface Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our clinical services team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in collaborating with clients to assess, intervene, and follow up on their occupational performance goals.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with clients to identify and prioritize their occupational performance goals
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet client needs
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify client strengths and areas for improvement
- Provide education and training to clients and their families on occupational therapy techniques and strategies
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program
- Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Manitoba (COTM)
- Membership in the Manitoba Society of Occupational Therapists (MSOT) and the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Recent and relevant clinical experience
- Successful completion of continuing professional education in designated clinical areas
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training
