Position Overview

The Registered Psychiatric Nurse plays a vital role in delivering comprehensive nursing care to patients with diverse and complex mental health needs. Under the guidance of the Health Services Manager or designated authority, this position involves the provision of professional nursing services, including the administration of prescribed treatments and leading the healthcare team in coordinating patient care and discharge processes. Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver independent nursing services tailored to individual patient requirements.
  • Administer prescribed medical treatments effectively.
  • Facilitate coordination among healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Support patient discharge planning and follow-up care.
Experience and Qualifications
  • Recent experience in a related field is preferred, with a focus on mental health nursing.
  • Graduation from an accredited Registered Psychiatric Nursing or Registered Nursing program is required.
Licensure and Certification
