Job Summary

Shared Health is seeking a skilled Psychiatric Nursing Assistant to join our team at the Selkirk Mental Health Centre. As a key member of our clinical support team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the treatment team to develop and implement recovery plans based on the Psychosocial Rehabilitation model.
  • Provide patients with supervision, guidance, and support in daily living activities, therapeutic, and recreational activities.
  • Assist patients with personal care, comfort, and safety.

Requirements

  • Minimum Grade 10 education, Manitoba standards, required.
  • Successful completion of a recognized Health Care Aide course preferred.
  • Excellent command of the English language (both oral and written).
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
