Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Psychiatric Nurse to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a Registered Psychiatric Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional nursing services to patients with complex and unpredictable health needs.
  • Administer prescribed medical treatments and facilitate coordination of patient care and discharge.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an approved Registered Psychiatric Nursing program or approved Registered Nursing program.
  • Current registration with the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Manitoba (CRPNM) or the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and prioritize tasks effectively.
