Events & Experience Coordinator

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Guest Experience Ambassador to join our team at Compass Canada. As a Guest Experience Ambassador, you will be responsible for establishing a warm, welcoming, and professional atmosphere for all clients, executives, and staff members at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level internal and external customer support
- Coordinate in-house catering events
- Greet employees and visitors, escort all VIP guests
- Ensure daily optimal workspace occupancy
- Share information about the office, building, surrounding areas, transportation, local restaurants, and other points of interest
- Handle daily signage requirements for guest wayfinding
- Maintain building visitor list by managing the access badge process
- Weekly and daily communication with Experience Team
- Operate telecommunication systems and manage incoming calls
- Restock supplies daily throughout the reception and storage room
- Provide general travel support
- Work closely with facilities, local technology, and other workplace departments
- Carry out instructions for security, fire, health, and safety guidelines
- Interface with vendors
- Conduct opening and closing walkthroughs when business requires
- Full understanding of security procedures
Requirements:
- Hospitality degree or experience in a luxury hospitality environment is preferred
- Experience with catering events
- Two to three years' experience in front-of-house operations at a corporate office
- Solid written and verbal communication skills, analytically inclined, and a team player
- Ability to set priorities, manage multiple tasks, and meet frequent deadlines
- Strong business acumen and professionalism
- Excellent listening and oral communication skills in French and English
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of office technology/equipment
