Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our team at Island Garden Banquet Services Inc. As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating set-ups, staging, seating, parking, communication systems, and other details for special events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Planning: Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, catering, and audio-visual equipment.
  • Communication: Liaise with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Setup and Execution: Oversee the setup and execution of events, including decorating, seating, and parking arrangements.
  • Supervision: Supervise a team of 3-4 people to ensure event details are executed as planned.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in event coordination or a related field.
  • Area of Work Experience: Convention centre, designing, and arts and culture.
  • Personal Suitability: Creativity, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
