About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Event Coordinator to join our team at Oliver & Bonacini Hospitality. As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing all inbound business and providing exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain relationships with new and current clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Event Planning and Execution: Coordinate and execute a variety of events, including small, large, and high-profile functions, ensuring that all details are accurate and timely.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with clients, operations team, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless event execution and exceptional customer service.
  • Administrative and Organizational Tasks: Manage event details, prepare packages, and maintain post-event information and receipts for events venues and private dining rooms.
  • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and present them to management for negotiation, ensuring the growth and success of our events business.
  • Time Management and Prioritization: Manage time effectively to meet weekly deadlines for event coordination and respond efficiently to client requests.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience in event coordination and/or execution, preferably in a hospitality or restaurant environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a team environment and maintain a high level of professionalism.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and familiar with event planning software and tools.
  • Education: Post-secondary education in hospitality, event management, or a related field is an asset.
