About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our team at Island Garden Banquet Services Inc. As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating set-ups, staging, seating, parking, communication systems, and other details for special events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Planning: Coordinate with clients to understand their event requirements and preferences.
  • Logistics Management: Oversee the setup and teardown of events, ensuring that all necessary equipment and resources are available.
  • Communication: Liaise with vendors, clients, and internal teams to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Supervision: Supervise a team of 3-4 people to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Area of Work Experience: Convention centre, designing.
  • Personal Suitability: Creativity.
