Lead Financial Analyst for Sales Incentives

Position OverviewEnable is on the lookout for a driven Senior Financial Analyst to become part of our dynamic accounting team. This position is essential for scaling our financial operations by managing and collaborating on corporate and sales compensation programs for our workforce. You will work across various departments to implement compensation strategies, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of commission and bonus distributions.
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will take charge of the data, processes, and controls that underpin our commission and bonus frameworks. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include supporting monthly and quarterly calculations for commissions and bonuses, while ensuring precise compensation assessments across all business segments.
Key Responsibilities- Independently lead the preparation and upkeep of the quarterly compensation workbook, ensuring precision and thoroughness.
- Oversee the comprehensive company-wide compensation process, driving ongoing enhancements and efficiencies.
- Prepare and submit monthly incentive and bonus calculation files.
- Review and manage the necessary data for commission calculations (e.g., compensation plan terms, employee target incentives) within our compensation system.
- Safeguard sensitive and confidential information, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Address complex inquiries regarding commissions and bonuses, providing timely resolutions and fostering a positive employee experience.
- Maintain templates for sales compensation plans and ensure accurate distribution to all incentive plan participants.
- Collaborate with revenue operations teams to enhance commission systems.
- Document and maintain business processes related to monthly/quarterly close, commission accounting tasks, and audits.
- Design and develop complex queries, comprehensive reports, and advanced analyses to support data-driven business decisions.
- Provide regular and ad-hoc reporting, analysis, and key projects for stakeholders in sales, finance, accounting, and other business areas.
- Partner with Finance teams on accruals, reporting, and operational cadence.
- Calculate and maintain dashboards for representative performance.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on sales compensation, offering strategic insights and guidance to stakeholders across the organization.
- A degree in finance, accounting, engineering, mathematics, economics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in Sales Compensation, FP&A, or a finance-related role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Highly detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to engage and communicate effectively with senior leaders and executives.
- Optional: Currently enrolled in a CPA program.
