Position Overview

Enable is in search of a highly driven Senior Financial Analyst to join a dynamic team within the accounting department. In this capacity, you will assist in scaling our financial operations by delivering and collaborating on Enable's corporate and sales compensation initiatives for a workforce of 700 employees. You will engage collaboratively across departments to implement compensation strategies by managing commission systems and applying policies to ensure precise and timely commission and bonus disbursements.

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will take ownership of the data, processes, and controls that underpin the accuracy of our bonus and commission programs. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you will provide support for the monthly and quarterly calculations of commissions and bonuses. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring precise compensation calculations across all business segments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Independently lead the preparation and upkeep of the quarterly compensation workbook, ensuring its accuracy and completeness.
  • Oversee and manage the comprehensive company-wide compensation process, driving ongoing improvements and efficiencies.
  • Prepare and submit monthly incentive and bonus calculation files.
  • Review and maintain pertinent data necessary for calculating commissions (e.g., compensation plan terms, employee target incentives, etc.) within our compensation system.
  • Manage and safeguard sensitive and confidential information, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Address complex commission and bonus inquiries, adjustments, and corrections promptly, ensuring a positive employee experience while resolving issues and serving as an escalation point for the team.
  • Maintain templates for sales compensation plan documents and oversee their distribution, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for each employee on an incentive plan.
  • Collaborate with revenue operations colleagues on system enhancements for commissions.
  • Document and uphold business processes for monthly and quarterly close, commission accounting tasks, and audits.
  • Design and develop intricate queries, comprehensive reports, and advanced analyses to facilitate data-driven business decisions.
  • Provide both ad-hoc and regular reporting, analysis, and key projects for stakeholders in sales, sales finance, accounting, and other business areas.
  • Partner with Finance teams on accruals, reporting, and operational cadence.
  • Calculate and maintain dashboards for representative performance.
  • Act as the subject matter expert on sales compensation, offering expertise and strategic guidance to stakeholders throughout the organization.
Qualifications
  • A degree in finance, accounting, engineering, mathematics, economics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in Sales Compensation, FP&A, or a finance-related role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Highly detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to effectively engage and communicate with senior leaders and C-Suite executives.
  • Optional - Currently enrolled in a CPA program.
