Position Details:
Location: Kitchener, ON
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

JOB SUMMARY:
As a cleaner, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the facility remains clean, organized, and welcoming at all times. Key tasks include maintaining shared spaces, restrooms, and performing cleaning duties such as mopping, sweeping, and sanitizing surfaces.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Cleaning and upkeep of communal areas, kitchens, and restrooms
  • Sweeping and mopping floors
  • Washing windows and ensuring blinds are free of dust
  • Disposing of waste properly
  • Keeping all cleaning tools and supplies in a safe and hygienic condition
  • Reporting any maintenance needs or necessary replacements

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Familiarity with cleaning products, techniques, and safety protocols
  • WHMIS Certification is a plus
  • Physical endurance and mobility, including the ability to reach, kneel, and bend
  • Capability to lift, push, and pull loads up to 50 lbs

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to pass a Canadian Background Check
