The Guest Attendant plays a vital role in our communities, fostering meaningful connections with residents and enhancing their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to resident call bells and door alarms, providing courteous service and support.
  • Deliver resident care as outlined in care plans and assignments, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Transport residents to and from their rooms, activities, health office, and dining room as required.
  • Complete laundry and housekeeping duties as assigned, maintaining a clean and comfortable environment.
  • Interact with residents, their families, and colleagues in a professional and respectful manner, addressing concerns and complaints in a timely manner.
  • Practice safe food handling techniques throughout food preparation and service.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and residents.

Requirements:

  • Minimum six months of experience in a similar role.
  • Current First Aid/CPR training.
  • Excellent verbal and written English language skills.
  • Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team.
  • All applicants must pass the prescribed Vulnerable Sector Check.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Personal Support Worker Certificate.
