About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Freight Account Executive to join our World Class Sales team at FedEx Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for prospecting and closing new business opportunities, maintaining and growing existing Freight accounts, and developing and delivering formal presentations to potential and existing customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and Closing: Regularly visit clients, schedule appointments, and acquire profitable new business in the transborder LTL market.
  • Account Management: Maintain and grow existing Freight accounts, focusing on goal attainment and minimizing customer churn.
  • Market Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on market trends, competition, customs, pricing, and product classification.
  • Presentation and Proposal Development: Develop, prepare, and deliver formal presentations tailored to meet customers' needs, and prepare and present proposals while adhering to FedEx Canada's pricing guidelines to maximize revenue and yield.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
  • 5+ years of business-to-business sales experience, with 2 years in the LTL industry (preferred)
  • Experience selling to the C-Suite
  • Outstanding presentation skills, communication, and rapport-building capabilities
  • Regular overnight travel required (5-10%); valid Class G driver's license preferred
