We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Professional to join our team at Mountain View Medical Centre. As a Primary Care Physician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical centre.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and Analyze Medical Information: Gather and review medical histories, symptoms, and test results to diagnose and treat patients.
- Examine and Assess Patients: Conduct thorough physical examinations to identify diseases, injuries, and other health issues.
- Develop and Implement Treatment Plans: Work with patients to create personalized treatment plans, including medication, therapy, and lifestyle changes.
- Collaborate with Other Healthcare Professionals: Consult with specialists, nurses, and other medical staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Prescribe and Administer Medications: Order and dispense medications, as well as provide guidance on their use.
- Provide Counselling and Support: Offer emotional support and guidance to patients and their families on various health and wellness topics.
- Manage Patient Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories, test results, and treatment plans.
- Education: A degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry from an accredited institution.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a primary care setting, with a strong focus on patient care and communication.
- Certifications and Licenses: Hold a valid medical license and certifications from reputable organizations, such as the College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP) and the Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE I and MCCQE II).
