We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Professional to join our team at Mountain View Medical Centre. As a Primary Care Physician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical centre.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and Analyze Medical Information: Gather and review medical information from patients, family members, or other medical professionals to inform treatment decisions.
- Examine and Diagnose Patients: Conduct thorough examinations to identify diseases and injuries, and develop effective treatment plans.
- Develop and Implement Health Plans: Work with patients to develop healthy habits, break old habits, and promote overall wellness.
- Order Diagnostic Tests and Procedures: Order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures to determine the most appropriate medical treatment.
- Consult with Other Medical Professionals: Collaborate with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health.
- Prescribe and Administer Medications: Prescribe and administer medications and treatments as needed.
- Provide Counselling and Support: Offer counselling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues.
- Education: Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a medical setting.
- Work Setting: Urban area, private practice, or clinic.
- Certifications and Licenses: College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP), Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC), licensure by provincial or territorial authorities, and Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE I and MCCQE II).
