About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Assistant Manager to join our team at I-WAY TRANSPORT INC. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our store, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate Daily Operations

Assess the performance of our store's daily operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to increase efficiency and productivity.

Plan and Organize Daily Operations

Develop and implement plans to ensure the smooth operation of our store, including scheduling, inventory management, and customer service.

Manage Staff and Assign Duties

Supervise and manage our store staff, assigning tasks and responsibilities to ensure that all areas of the store are covered.

Study Market Research and Trends

Stay up-to-date with market research and trends, analyzing data to determine consumer demand and competitor activity.

Determine Merchandise and Services

Make informed decisions about the merchandise and services offered in our store, ensuring that they meet the needs of our customers.

Locate, Select, and Procure Merchandise

Source and procure merchandise for resale, ensuring that it meets our quality and pricing standards.

Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies

Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote our store and its products, increasing customer engagement and sales.

Plan Budgets and Monitor Revenues and Expenses

Develop and manage budgets, monitoring revenues and expenses to ensure that our store is operating within its financial means.

Resolve Issues

Address customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise, ensuring that our store provides excellent customer service.

Recruit, Hire, and Supervise Staff

Recruit, hire, and supervise staff, ensuring that our store has the right people in the right roles.

Oversee Payroll Administration

Manage payroll administration, ensuring that staff are paid accurately and on time.

Supervise Office and Volunteer Staff

Supervise office and volunteer staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

7 months to less than 1 year
