Job Title: Office Administrative Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrative Assistant to join our team at K-Town Carpets and Flooring Ltd. in English.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our office team, ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities. This is a permanent, full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule and Confirm Appointments: Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and events with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage Contracts: Maintain and update contracts, agreements, and other documents as required.
  • Answer Electronic Enquiries: Respond to emails, phone calls, and other electronic inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform Data Entry: Accurately and efficiently enter data into our systems and software.
  • Provide Customer Service: Offer exceptional customer service to our clients, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform Basic Bookkeeping Tasks: Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks, including invoicing, reconciliations, and expense tracking.
  • Conduct Performance Reviews: Assist with performance reviews, providing feedback and recommendations to management.
Support for Persons with Disabilities:
  • Physical Accessibility: Ensure physical accessibility accommodations are in place, including ramps, elevators, and accessible parking.
  • Visual Accessibility: Provide visual accessibility accommodations, such as braille, screen readers, and large print materials.

  • Recruit Newcomers: Recruit newcomers who were displaced by conflict or natural disaster.
  • Foreign Credential Recognition: Support newcomers with foreign credential recognition.
  • Mentorship Programs: Offer mentorship programs that pair newcomers with experienced employees.
Support for Youth:
  • Participate in Youth Initiatives: Participate in government or community programs that support youth employment.
  • On-the-Job Training: Offer on-the-job training tailored to youth.
  • Mentorship and Coaching: Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for youth.
Support for Veterans:
  • Participate in Veteran Initiatives: Participate in government or community programs that support Veterans.
  • Mentorship and Coaching: Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for Veterans.
Support for Indigenous People:
  • Participate in Indigenous Initiatives: Participate in government or community programs that support Indigenous people.
  • Mentorship and Coaching: Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for Indigenous workers.
Support for Mature Workers:
  • Participate in Mature Worker Initiatives: Participate in government or community programs that support mature workers.
  • Hiring Policies: Apply hiring policies that discourage age discrimination.

Support for Visible Minorities:
