The Marketing Communications Associate, reporting to the VP of Sales and Marketing, will collaborate with the Marketing team to facilitate all marketing initiatives and events related to Seed Hawk. This role will assist in promoting products, programs, and the Seed Hawk brand through effective marketing communication channels while maintaining a customer-centric approach. Additionally, this position will support the HR team in organizing recruitment initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or College Diploma in marketing, communications, or a related discipline.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in marketing.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign. Knowledge of the full Adobe Creative Cloud/Suite is a plus.
  • Understanding of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media strategies.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Established knowledge of digital marketing tools and practices, including social media.

Core Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing Manager and Communication Strategist to ensure the marketing strategy is executed effectively.
  • Act as a steward of Seed Hawk's brand and reputation, ensuring our standards are upheld throughout the organization.
  • Develop essential marketing materials, including campaign creatives, brand and product launches, and product line extensions.
  • Assist in maintaining the company's websites and collaborate with sales and marketing departments for content recommendations.
  • Work alongside the Sales Manager and Brand Strategist to devise strategies for B2B marketing support materials and programs.
  • Coordinate with the Marketing and Sales teams to ensure accurate messaging is conveyed through presentations and promotional materials; collaborate on developing and implementing pitch ideas.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to enhance Seed Hawk's brand visibility and foster consumer loyalty and product sales.
  • Execute marketing campaigns across email, digital platforms, and all major social media channels.

Accountabilities

  • Implement strategic marketing plans to meet corporate objectives for products and services.
  • Oversee all Company social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Conduct research on competitive products by assessing product characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising strategies.
  • Assist in organizing, coordinating, and managing regional trade show activities, evaluating their effectiveness, and identifying opportunities for new events.
  • Monitor industry news and trends, providing reports on emerging developments, competitive products, and personnel changes.
  • Actively engage in the creation and execution of a measurable marketing communications plan that encompasses all communication initiatives, including public relations, web, direct mail, advertising, and trade shows.
  • Coordinate the design and production of print materials, such as product specifications, brochures, and direct mail, as well as interactive and electronic marketing media.
