Role Summary: We invite you to join our Securities Department, where you will be responsible for the allocation, settlement, and reconciliation of equity and bond transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute settlements for fixed income, equity, and options across Canadian and international markets.
  • Perform reconciliation of cash positions and stock records.
  • Generate reports on Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Key Risk Indicators (KRI), including thorough root cause analysis.
  • Address discrepancies and failures in collaboration with counterparties.
  • Adapt to flexible working hours ranging from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm.
  • Be available for overtime and late shifts as necessary.

Required Skills:

  • Expertise in clearing and settlement tools and systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with Canadian regulatory and compliance frameworks is advantageous.
  • Understanding of broker/dealer operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related discipline.
  • 3-7 years of pertinent experience.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks and adhere to deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A collaborative and team-oriented approach.
  • Knowledge of both domestic and international settlement processes.
  • Fluency in French and English.
