At Château de Mercuès, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of dishes, collaborating with our Executive Chef to develop new menu items, and mentoring junior staff to ensure high levels of skill and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:- Execute and oversee the preparation of dishes within the assigned section.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to plan and develop menu items.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff.
- Monitor food quality, presentation, and consistency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist in inventory management and ordering.
- Contribute creative ideas to enhance menu offerings.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Participate in menu tastings and special events.
- Culinary diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in a high-end restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and presentation.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Creative flair and passion for culinary arts.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
