Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Lake Louise Inn. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen staff and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our guests.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and kitchen assistants.
  • Develop and implement menus that showcase local and seasonal ingredients.
  • Oversee food preparation, presentation, and plating to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, supplies, and equipment to maintain efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Collaborate with our events team to create customized menus for weddings, conferences, and other events.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as food safety standards.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience as a head cook or executive chef in a high-volume kitchen.
  • Proven track record of leading a team and achieving high-quality results.
  • Strong knowledge of local and seasonal ingredients, as well as food trends and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
