Your Role

BDO Canada is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to enhance our Salesforce team. You will engage in medium to large-scale projects, taking charge of the functional scope for a variety of initiatives. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Articulating the client's vision to the development team
  • Defining and overseeing scope and requirements throughout the lifecycle of IT and Data Science projects
  • Collecting and documenting requirements and user stories in collaboration with clients and securing their approval
  • Supporting project leaders in formulating project plans and ensuring all team members comprehend their designated requirements
  • Balancing client and team needs consistently
  • Maintaining alignment between client requirements, project deliverables, and project scope
  • Organizing, facilitating, and documenting team and client meetings and workshops
  • Contributing to client proposals and project estimates
  • Guiding and motivating teams towards successful outcomes

Your Qualifications and Experience

  • Over 5 years of progressive experience in business analysis
  • Experience in a software and/or product development setting
  • Proficient in producing requirements documentation, use cases, process flows, and related artifacts for software applications
  • Strong understanding of agile and waterfall project management fundamentals within an SDLC context
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven track record of meeting commitments, timelines, and deliverables
  • Accepts accountability for actions and comprehends the business implications of decisions
  • Ability to work autonomously, adapt to change, and perform well under pressure
  • Demonstrated initiative and creativity in problem-solving
  • High personal standards and commitment to quality
  • In-depth business knowledge and understanding of common business challenges
  • Salesforce certification and experience are advantageous
  • Agile project management experience is a plus
