Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Accommodation Services Manager to join our team at 2209664 ONTARIO INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our hotel, motel, or resort, ensuring seamless guest experiences and efficient management of staff and resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Operational Policies

The Accommodation Services Manager will be responsible for creating and implementing policies and procedures that drive business growth, improve efficiency, and enhance guest satisfaction.

Staff Recruitment and Management

The successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting, hiring, and supervising staff, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and training to provide exceptional guest experiences.

Performance Management and Training

The Accommodation Services Manager will be responsible for conducting performance reviews, providing feedback, and developing training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.

Supplier Negotiations and Procurement

The successful candidate will be responsible for negotiating with suppliers to secure the best possible deals on materials and supplies, ensuring that the hotel, motel, or resort operates within budget.

Marketing and Revenue Management

The Accommodation Services Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing plans to drive revenue growth, improve occupancy rates, and increase guest satisfaction.

Customer Service and Conflict Resolution

The successful candidate will be responsible for addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner, ensuring that guest satisfaction is consistently high.

Inventory Management and Budgeting

The Accommodation Services Manager will be responsible for managing inventory levels, preparing budgets, and monitoring revenues and expenses to ensure that the hotel, motel, or resort operates efficiently and effectively.

Requirements
  • Education

A college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years is required.

Experience

7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field is required, or equivalent experience.

Computer and Technology Skills

Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, and MS PowerPoint is required.

Transportation and Travel

Public transportation is available, and the successful candidate will be required to travel occasionally.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

The Accommodation Services Manager will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. Standing for extended periods is also required.

Personal Suitability

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
