About the Role:
The Regional Municipality of York is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Court Administration Support Specialist to provide administrative support for matters filed with various courts. This role is responsible for reviewing and administering incoming charges, entering information into the database, scheduling appointments, preparing documentation, and providing customer service to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and administer incoming charges, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Enter information into the database, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Schedule appointments and prepare documentation, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
- Provide exceptional customer service to stakeholders, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Assess priorities and meet deadlines, working independently to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Research and resolve problems, utilizing strong analytical and communication skills.
- Travel to offsite locations and work outside regular business hours, as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum three (3) years experience in an office environment with legal or court experience.
- Knowledge of general office procedures and records management systems.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to assess priorities and meet deadlines, working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to research and resolve problems, utilizing strong analytical and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel to offsite locations and work outside regular business hours, as required.
