Qualifications- Education: No formal degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in payroll administration.
- Office-based role at the head office.
- Calculate and prepare payroll cheques.
- Generate statements of earnings for employees, detailing gross and net salaries along with deductions such as taxes and benefits.
- Maintain, update, and retrieve financial records efficiently.
- Perform clerical tasks, including the organization of filing systems.
- Prepare and balance period-end reports, ensuring reconciliation of payroll with bank statements.
- Compile and submit documentation for employee benefits administration.
- Provide guidance to employees regarding payroll inquiries and benefit plans.
- Compile relevant statistics and reports as needed.
- Maintain comprehensive payroll records.
- Track employee attendance, leave, and overtime to determine pay and benefit eligibility using both manual and computerized systems.
- Conduct data entry tasks accurately.
- Ability to handle heavy workloads.
- Strong attention to detail is required.
- Capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
