The Tools and Technology Team
The Tools and Technology Team within Fusion is looking for accomplished professionals to help us fulfill our mission of providing creative tools and workflows that allow EA to lead the industry in content quality. We partner with a global group of extraordinary creatives fueled by imagination and a unified passion for creating amazing content and experiences.
The Challenge Ahead
The Development Director (DD) role oversees all aspects of people leadership and project management within their team. You will be experienced in developing people and have proven experience delivering high-quality products to customers. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on the Characters Tools team to deliver innovative technologies that deliver exceptional character likenesses to our game team partners. You will report into the Senior Development Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide project management support to specific workstreams within the Characters domain.
- Provide career development to the assigned people on your team.
- Find and address team and project risks, focusing on removing blockers for the team.
- Partner with the other team DDs to create a creative, collaborative, and inclusive environment, promoting a culture of learning and development for individuals on the team.
Requirements
- 5+ years project management experience of technical projects and 3+ years team development experience.
- University degree Bachelors or equivalent professional experience.
- 1+ years of experience using Agile project management methodology.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience career managing technical people.
- Experience in a tools team within a games company.
- Experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Asana.
