Director of Communications and Content

The Institute of Corporate Directors is seeking a highly skilled Director, Communications & Content, to lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive content strategy. This role will be responsible for creating and curating engaging content across various channels to inform, guide, and inspire directors to perform their governance role optimally.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a content strategy that aligns with the ICD's corporate strategy and goals.
- Lead the creation and curation of high-quality content across various channels, including social media, email, and the ICD website.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure content is aligned with business objectives and meets the needs of ICD members.
- Monitor and analyze content performance to inform future content decisions.
- Manage and develop a team of content professionals to support the content strategy.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in communications and content strategy development.
- Graduate degree in communications or public relations.
- Strong track record of success in leveraging content for competitive advantage.
- Excellent communication, writing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively within the C-Suite and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
