Job Title: Data Insights Manager

The AIR MILES Reward Program is a leading loyalty program in Canada, with over 10 million active collector accounts. As a Data Insights Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the development of customer-centric business and loyalty marketing strategies by delivering world-class analytical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership & Development: Manage, mentor, and develop a team of analysts and senior analysts, set performance goals, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
  • Data Strategy & Analysis: Develop and execute the analytics strategy aligned with business goals, analyze large datasets to uncover trends, insights, and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations to support marketing, business development, and client services teams.
  • Collaboration with Marketing & Client Services: Partner with marketing to measure campaign performance, ROI, and customer behavior, support client services by providing insights to improve customer experience and retention, and collaborate on cross-functional projects to align data insights with business objectives.
  • Reporting & Dashboards: Design and maintain reports and dashboards for key stakeholders, ensure data accuracy, timely delivery, and clear communication of insights, and present findings and recommendations to leadership and other key stakeholders.
  • Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Track KPIs and business metrics, identifying areas for improvement, optimize campaigns, customer engagement strategies, and business processes based on insights, and conduct A/B testing and other performance tests to support business growth.
  • Stakeholder Communication & Influence: Act as a key point of contact for analytics-related inquiries from internal teams and external stakeholders, translate complex data into simple, actionable insights that can drive decision-making, and influence business strategy through data-driven insights and recommendations.

Qualifications: Post-secondary education is required, undergraduate degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics is preferred, and additional preference will be given to applicants with a master's in analytics, business, or statistics. Advanced user of Microsoft Office tools, basic technical knowledge of SQL and/or Python, and proficiency in visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker are also required.
