Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Specialist to join our team at United Parcel Service of America, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing HR support to our geographies, delivering HR services that require close physical proximity to business operations, and covering one to multiple UPS locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage employee concerns and workplace investigations to ensure a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Implement local services and programs to improve talent acquisition and retention.
  • Assist in recruitment activities, including posting jobs on job boards, creating Workday requisitions, and conducting recruitment contact sourcing.
  • Promote our referral program to attract top talent.
  • Support our external and internal customers with exceptional service.

Requirements:

  • Recent graduate from a Human Resources Management program or equivalent.
  • Previous Human Resources experience required.
  • Ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of local employment and regulatory laws – preferred.

  • Tech Proficiency: Familiarity with HR software like Workday and recruitment tools.
  • Problem-Solving: Creative and resourceful in finding solutions to talent acquisition challenges.
  • Cultural Awareness: Understanding of diverse cultures and employment markets across Ontario.
