Human Resources Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Human Resources Specialist to join our team at Aspirion Health Resources, LLC. This role will play a critical part in helping us achieve our productivity goals through effective workforce management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Benefits Administration: Administer benefits programs, including health, vision, and dental insurance, vacation, sick leave, and FMLA.
  • Employee Inquiries: Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Administrative Tasks: Handle worker's compensation, unemployment, legal compliance, and other administrative tasks.
  • Employee Relations: Advise management on resolving employee relations issues.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Identify legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensure policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
  • Recruitment and Selection: Collaborate with managers on the recruiting and selection process.
  • New Employee Orientation: Manage and conduct new employee orientation.
  • Training and Development: Recommend and coordinate training and development opportunities.
  • Management Training: Coordinate management training in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance reviews, employee relations, safety, and sexual harassment.
  • HR Documentation: Update employee manuals and handbooks, job descriptions, performance appraisals, and other employee correspondence.
  • HR Goals and Objectives: Support and administer HR goals and objectives developed in conjunction with management.
Requirements:
  • Education: BA/BS Degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of progressive Human Resources Management experience.
  • Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, strategic and forward thinking, proactive and adaptable management style, comfortable with a fast pace and changing environment.
  • Certifications: SHRM or other equivalent HR certification is a plus.
